Revision of Presidential Policy on Use of Animals in Research, Teaching, and Testing

The final revised Presidential Policy on the Use of Animals in Research, Teaching, and Testing Policy was issued on September 25, 2025.  Revisions include: expanded definition of Animal, articulation of the UC's obligations, extensive list of governing resources, compliance and procedural responsibilities, and resources to protect the wellbeing of animals.
