Re: Delegation of Authority - Power of Attorney (FORM 222) - Controlled Substances Program (Business and Finance Bulletin BUS-50)
In accordance with my authority as Responsible Official of the Controlled Substances Program and Campus BioSafety Officer, I am redelegating to your role as Chief Procurement Officer the Power of Attorney to obtain and execute order forms for controlled substances.
According to BUS-50, section IV.D, and the attached Power of Attorney for DEA Order Form 222, you are designated the responsibility of procuring Controlled Substances, Listed and Precursor chemicals for Authorized University Activities in compliance with DEA registrations, the location's Controlled Substances Program, and University/Laboratory policies.
The Chief Procurement Officer may further redelegate the Power of Attorney for Form 222 to individually named Seniqr Buyers with the direction that it may not be further redelegated and will be automatically rescinded upon leaving their position in Supply Chain Management.
This letter supersedes all previous delegations of this authority.
