Re: Delegation of Authority 0131 - Licenses for Radioactive Materials
Effective immediately, in accordance with DA 0131 - Licenses for Radioactive Materials, I am redelegating to the role of Vice Chancellor for Research the responsibility for nuclear reactor construction and operating licenses, for AEC1 licenses for out-of-state operations and for any other licenses for radioactive materials and related activities. This letter supercedes all previous redelegations of this authority.
Attached for your information is the Office of the President's initial letter of delegation to Chancellors dated November 23, 1966 also accessible at http://policy.ucop.edu/files/da/da0131.html
