Placing an email auto-reply To create an auto-reply message on an employee’s account (e.g., for an employee on extended leave or if a former employee did not create an auto-reply message before separation), the employee’s manager can send the request directly to the bConnected Team (bconnected@berkeley.edu) along with the language to be used in the auto-reply message. This does not require Privacy Office approval. (Note that redirecting/auto-forwarding mail to another account is not an approved practice.)
4 Reviewing a contract/agreement The Privacy Office generally receives agreements for review via campus contracting offices* (which have delegated authority to sign contracts on behalf of the UC Regents), but we may provide privacy guidance for agreements in some other instances. Send a detailed email with relevant artifacts as attachments to privacyofficehelp@berkeley.edu to create a service ticket.
