| Brief description of delegated authority: | Register copyrights and accept copyrights from third parties; sell, assign, or grant licenses in the name of the Regents; release University ownership rights to copyrighted works in the name of the Regents, pursuant to section VII of the Copyright Ownership Policy (rev. 1992), under the conditions that: (a) there are no overriding obligations to a spouse or third party; (b) the best interests of the University would be so served; the originator(s) agree that no further development of the work will be made using University resources and that the University is granted a free, nonexclusive, worldwide license to use and reproduce the work for education and research purposes. |
