Brief description of redelegated authority: Serve as Designated Campus Building Official, responsible for administering the campus construction building plan review and inspection program, including the enforcement of the California Building Code and related University policies; ensure that all campus design and construction projects comply with state building code requirement for fire and life safety, energy conservation and disabled access, close and reoccupation of campus buildings after a disaster. May serve as or relegate the role of Certified Building Official; qualifications apply
